PVCC Ceramics alumni Lynne Hobaica and ceramic artist Rickie Barnett visited the Ceramics Lab to talk about their work, do a live demo and give advice to artists aspiring to full-time careers in the field.
“The pieces become the bodies that I paint stories on. In a way by creating these layers of coils of clay and then adding layers on top of that, it’s sort of almost like a person. We are created by all of the layers of everything we’ve lived through.”
